Action research on human contact at social services
- Start project: 1 May 2022
- Duration: 3 years
- Status: ongoing
In this project (In de dichter bij stand) we want to investigate, together with three municipalities, what is needed to put the human touch first in the contact between government and citizens.
Description
We examine what is needed for a good and effective relationship between counsellors and people on welfare. We explore how their working relationship is structured and how they deal with the dilemmas that can occur within it.
We alternate research into this with learning sessions in which we draw lessons from the results together with practitioners and try to initiate change. We then want to investigate these changes again in order to secure the project's results as effectively as possible.
Together we will develop tools and guidelines for consultants to help them improve the working relationship with their clients and to reflect on how they deal with clients.
