New measures to stop spread of Coronavirus

From Thursday 12 March 2020 new measures apply in the Netherlands to stop the spread of coronavirus. The measures are based on the advice of the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM).

  • All scientific education taken place at our building from 13 March onwards will be cancelled in any case up to and including 31 March. We are following this decision, in line with the VSNU. Students and staff will be informed about further measures and possibilities to learn and work at home.
  • Gatherings (e.g. our Open Day, symposia, etcetera) of more than 100 people will be cancelled.
  • Students en employees are encouraged to work from home.

For everyone in the Netherlands: stay at home if you have a cold, a cough, a sore throat or a fever. Avoid contact with others (social distancing). Only call your doctor if your symptoms worsen.
