Dr. Mienke v.der Brug

Mienke van der Brug is opgeleid als ontwikkelingspsycholoog (Universiteit Leiden) en cultureel antropoloog (Universiteit Leiden). Zij is gepromoveerd op een onderzoek naar rouw bij kinderen en adolescenten in de context van de HIV/AIDS epidemie in Namibië (Vrije Universiteit). Tevens deed zij onderzoek naar psychosociale effecten van gewapend conflict op kinderen in Nepal. Zij houdt zich bezig met longitudinaal onderzoek naar ouderlijk verlies bij kinderen in Namibië. Daarnaast richt zij zich op onderzoeksmethoden die kinderen en adolescenten helpen om zich te uiten over gevoelige kwesties.
